Barton Bothy is a listed building, semi-detached but totally secluded from the main farmhouse. The cottage sleeps four guests and is comfortable for a family holiday and popular with couples at all times of year.

The cottage has lovely views, particularly from the main bedroom and the sitting room.

Upstairs the  large double bedroom has a 5′ bed and wash basin with next door  a small twin bedded room with 3′ beds and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Downstairs there is a glassed-in porch, for wellies and wet dogs, and this leads into the kitchen diner which in turn leads into the sitting room with a log burner, comfortable chairs and sofa.

It has gas fired central heating and a log burner for cosy evenings.

Outside there is space for a car, a fenced in lawn and a paved patio.  The front door and patio are completely private and secluded from the farmhouse.  There is a wood store for guests use in a small front garden which adjoins the farmhouse front lawn.

Broadband and wi-fi is good.

Up to 3 well-behaved dogs are welcome at an additional cost of £30 per dog / per week
